On the riverfront, where the city breathes history and modernity in equal measure, we find a house that is much more than just a living space—it is a place of contemplation, elegance, and absolute comfort. This interior design project, signed by Atelier ARS, was born from the desire to create a home that responds to the demands of a cosmopolitan lifestyle, without ever giving up the soul that makes a house a refuge.

Facing the Tagus River, the house thrives on its intimate relationship with the landscape. The view, which is generous from almost every room, dictated the creative direction from the outset: everything should exist to enhance the light and the horizon. Thus, the palette of materials and colors was chosen with precision—neutral tones, natural textures, and sophisticated accents that do not compete with the exterior but welcome it into the home.

Each space was designed, as we always do, with a clear purpose: to combine beauty and functionality. Here, luxury translates into serenity. Rich fabrics, meticulously designed lighting, and custom-designed furniture create environments of deep and inspiring rest. Everything here was designed to be felt — to be enjoyed with pleasure, day after day.

The décor is not imposing, but rather creates environments where sophistication is never confused with ostentation, and where each choice embodies an idea of timelessness. Because true luxury lies in the balance between form and function, between what is beautiful and what is essential.

With this project, our Atelier reaffirms its aesthetic signature: creating spaces that tell unique stories, that respect the place where they are located, and that respond to the desires of a demanding, informed client looking for something truly unique.
